THOUGHTS AND LIFE

•

MEMORISE: Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things. – Philippians 4:8

BIBLE READING: 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

MESSAGE:

What you allow into your mind has the power to influence your life. This is why today’s Bible reading encourages us to reject thoughts and imaginations that go against the knowledge of God. As a child of God, you are expected to replace negative, harmful, or impure thoughts with pure and positive ones that align with the Scriptures.

We live in a wicked world, and as a result, wicked thoughts can easily enter our hearts. However, you must guard your heart diligently, because it directs your actions. When your thoughts are centred on God, your life will radiate His presence and glory.

My dear child, if you want your heart to remain pure, you must fill it with things that are good, edifying, and holy.
