BIBLE READING: Romans 12:6-8

6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;

8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

MESSAGE:

God created every child for a specific purpose, and He put His creativity in them so that they can perform certain roles. For example, a child who is overly concerned about a sick fellow and would not rest until the fellow is okay may likely be walking the path of becoming a healthcare professional. Likewise, a child who loves to make people laugh when they are sad may be moving towards entertainment. Beloved, you should not live your teenage years anyhow; rather, spend them discovering yourself – your interests, skills, habits, hobbies, dislikes, et cetera.

If you discover that you love cooking, you can take a bold step and enrol in a catering school to learn how to cook well. If you love using computers, you can subscribe to taking digital skill trainings. If you love talking, you can take public speaking courses. Once you discover your gift, start reading books and attending seminars and conferences. You should also get a mentor who can constantly guide you. My dear child, the more you improve your skills, the more refined they will become and the more relevant they will be to the world.
