MESSAGE:
I understand that as a teenager, you are at puberty, and your body is going through some changes. One of them is the growth of hair under your arms and pubic area. I am particular about these areas because you will smell if you do not take good care of them. This might cause people to start avoiding you.
The Bible says that our body is the temple of the living God (1 Corinthians 6:19). Can a holy God live in a dirty temple? God gave Moses certain guidelines by which the children of Israel should live, and one of those key areas in the guidelines, as documented in the book of Leviticus, was about their hygiene.
My dear child, take your bath at least twice daily. Also, you should wash your underwear daily; never wear underwear twice. When brushing your teeth, scrub your tongue thoroughly because that organ hides dirt and smells. Wash your hair regularly, and also make sure that you wash your clothes, iron them, and arrange them. Don’t forget that cleanliness is next to godliness.
KEY POINT:
Your body is God’s temple. Always make sure it is clean.
